In this ongoing debate on Health care, as Christians, let us never loose sight that this life is not our own. James tells us that this life is but a fleeting vapor. Our home is ultimately with God. We are just here for a while, to show through our lives the love of God and the transforming difference Jesus Christ can make in a life.
Let's make sure as we think about and talk about our need for health care, that we do it like Jesus would. He told us to
:To count the cost - is the cost of your health care worth the life of the unborn that may be used to develop the drug?
:To live circumspectly - it simply means to take in to account all that's going on around you. Are we living, making decisions that reflect the values of Jesus? The world is watching us!
:To lay down our lives for him - will we stand for issues of justice to protect the life of the unborn, at the cost of drug we may need not being developed, because we value what God values, more than our own life?
May we live with His glory on our hearts!
