Convoy of Hope!

Convoy of Hope is a community based outreach event. It is churches working together to bring the hope in Jesus to hurting people. Convoy of Hope will bring free medical and vision screening, kids activities and 37,000 pounds of food to the Grand Canyon University campus. This will show the love of God for hurting people in a way that says Jesus really cares about you.

If you’re looking for a way to make an impact for God, share the gospel with those who need to hear, and have a great time doing it, then we need you to be there.

So many needing hope today...

What will you do?

Help Haiti Heal

Many have watched the news with a sense of profound helplessness over the devastation in Haiti. And the question rises in our hearts, "I wish I could do something, but what can I do? I'm only one person. I can't really make a significant difference."

The good news is You Can Help. Working together,here's how we can all Help Haiti Heal. As each does his or her part, we can make a difference. As each one does we he or she can, together we can Help Haiti Heal.  On January 15th, Bishop David Roller wrote;

"We know that Free Methodists want to respond in the best way. We are urging a strong response.
The right response is with prayer and giving. The church in Haiti will need massive amounts of money.
There are two ways to give either through Free Methodist World Missions
or through the Bishops Famine and Relief fund.
We will all be working together to coordinate our response. All FM entities work straight with the Haitian FM church.

I leave at noon on Friday (today) for Dominican Republic to try to get to the border and connect with our missionaries as they try to exit Haiti. Everything is very fluid and uncertain so we make decisions based on probability and God's leading.
We appreciate your prayers."

Prayer is so needed at this time. But let us also show our love for those in need through our compassionate giving. The need is enormous. But our God is greater, and as we give to the things that break his heart, He will be pleased by our responsive. Let us give to Help Haiti Heal not from the idea that as we give God in turn will bless us for it. Of course He will. Let us give simply because it is the right thing to do. And doing the right thing is always the right thing to do.

Will you help us Help Haiti Heal?
